Your allegations could be "too good to be true". But I see it more of a "remote possibility".

Brace yourself when you join a contest under the mercy of judges- they are humans and the risk of subjectivity is very high. Take for example our boxer fighting in Japan? Knock Out or TKO is the only means of winning. If your fight will consume the whole rounds, beat the opponent black and blue, but never KOED him, then expect for the second prize.

Remember this dictum once made by Ms. Bong Dimayacyac(Once a National Beauty Titlist in late 70's) - Beauty Contest is 20% battle upstage and 80% battle in the backstage. Hope you got my point. Why? whats the big deal?  i dont won some nor lose some from that election. I have a good job in a private coy, I can always relax and browse the net, sipping my ice-cold beer, listening to fav music without thinking of Cotabato Province. So what cheating happens? Id been a witnessed in many elections, the poor electoral system in the country added by the political immaturity of voters makes the system dirty.  I tell you whats the root of all these evils, I hope you have this listed in your visyan vocabulary;

I supposed you  migrated to other place because you distrust the leadership of your mayor. And I conclude that the primary reason to it is the embarassment you got from last Magpet's Pageant nigth. And I presumed you left the country because you want to escape  from that shameful image we have from other countries.

You have a sort of memorabelias from that place or nightmares that haunted you each night you go to bed? And where were you when Magpet needs you? I really respect the likes of Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo and Manuel Quezon...filipinos who are from well to do families and could have just chosen to go along with the spaniards or go to Europe or other countries where they will be safe from harm yet men like Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo and others chose to go back home and fight the war face to face instead of fighting it overseas...these are things that men are remembered for long after you, me and others are dead their name will still be remembered by the entire country. And while you are isolating yourself and being contend of witnessing and doing the blah-blah from the distance you'll always remain the unsung hero of Magpet.
